2 weeks ago I finally went to a local store to get a shiny new Macbook Pro.
After I got home and unpacked it, I noticed that it had a fifth leg. The bottom appeared to be bent.
So I took it back to the store where I bought it, where the salesman called applecare to have this problem fixed. Normally, when one buys a new product that appears to have a defect, you would think it would be replaced by a new product? Think again, not so with Apple.
The Macbook went to the repair service, came back to the store and guess what, it was still bent (although it was less, but still visible). The sales back on the phone with applecare, same thing, no replacement, they’re gonna try to fix it again. I also made a call to Apple support, but alas, they won’t replace it.
Being the first time I buy an Apple product, I am far from impressed with their support. As for now I’m a very unhappy customer. They should have replaced it the first time.

update: I got a brand new laptop (after a lot of effort from the shop people) I am a very happy Apple laptop owner now.
